Reaching over 61 m (200 ft), eucalyptus deglupta (commonly known as rainbow eucalyptus) is famous for its unique multi-hued bark. Patches of outer bark are shed at different times, showing a green inner bark which then darkens and matures to give blue, purple, orange and maroon tones.
